Lead Collections Specialist

Needham, MA

TechTarget is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Lead Collections Specialist, 2+ years experience required. The position is a full time position reporting to the Credit & Collections Manager. This is not an entry level position.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for the reduction of all accounts receivable aging categories based on prompt, effective phone collections and customer account reconciliations;
• Interaction with customers;
• Act as a liaison between collections and the sales teams; and,
• Work as a mentor/trainer of collection team members

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• 2+ years experience in Collections required;
• Familiarity with automated accounting systems and Excel;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Detail orientation;
• Self-motivated; and,
• Eager to work in a fast paced environment.
